INSTRUCTIONS AFTER HAIR TRANSPLANTATION

– It is recommended that you rest after moving from the hospital to the hotel on the first day of the operation.
– Salt, cola, coffee, hookah, alcohol and cigarette should not be used on the first 4 days of the operation.
– You shouldn’t have sexual activities for the first week.
– Please use the prescribed antibiotics, painkillers and blood circulation medications regularly.
– The first wash will be done by us on day 2 or day 3 after the operation. During this period, water, rain or any liquid should not touch the implanted area.
– After the first wash, you must continue the same washing procedure as shown to you for following 9 days.
– A instructive video will be sent to you to remove the scabs formed on the 10th day. You need to watch the video to remove the scabs on the 10th and 11th days.
– On the 7th day, you can wash you head by touching with your fingertips (like massaging).
– Swelling may occur around the forehead and after the 3rd day of the operation and is normal. You can consume plenty of water and it will return to normal within 5 days.
– Minor small lesions like pimples may occur in the donor area and the transplanted area during the first 3 months of operation. In this case, please contact us.
– Transplanted areas may be itchy, you can use ocean water SALIN (spray).
– It is strictly forbidden to lie on the right, left side and face down when you sleep for first 7 days. After the 7th day, you can lie to the right and left side but by protecting yourself and avoiding rubbing the transplanted area.
– Leaning forward for the first 4 days should be avoided.
– Sports, swimming, pool and sauna are prohibited during the first 4 weeks.
– Helmets, wigs, hats or similar items should not be used for 1 month, except in case of necessity.
– After the 10th day of the operation, scabs will fall together with your hairs. In the next 20 days, 80-90% of the roots will be fallen. You don’t have to worry because the follicles are under the skin. The first 2 months, it will look like it has never been transplanted. At the end of the second month, the hair will start to grow.
– 30% of the grafts transplanted will be grown in the 3rd and 4th months, 60% of the grafts transplanted will be grown in the 5th and 6th months and 80-85% of the grafts transplanted will be grown in the 7th and 8th months. The remaining 20% will be grown within 1 year.
– Please do not shave your hair in the first 1 month in any way. After 1 month, the donor area can be gently trimmed with the machine, or it can be done after the hair is grown. After 6 months, transplanted areas could be shaved with scissors.

WASHING

– The first wash will be done by the medical team in the clinic on the day after the operation.
– Next 9 days:
• You need to use warm and slow flowing water (low pressure).
• You will be provided a spray foam and a shampoo by the clinic. Please apply the spray foam to your head and wait 45 minutes then wash it with shampoo.
• Scabs must be fallen after 10 days. Wash your head once a day for 1 month.
• Stop using the shampoo and spray provided by the clinic after 10 days that the scabs have been fallen. You will use a medical shampoo then.
